H I really, really enjoy using my laptop for writing and blogging, however, the new version of Internet can drive a woman to want to throw the little bugger across the room and that would defeat my purpose of convenience. So instead of using Internet Explorer, I'm using Firefox.
I wanted to post a few photos I've taken with my Blackberry. It is way fun and a wonderful convenience.
This is a wonderful flowering bush I found outside my therapist's office a few weeks ago. Then I opened the image in PhotoShop Elements on this laptop and in the process of trying to make adjustments, this is how the image changed.
I'm in the process of preparing inventory for Art Unraveled's Shopping Extravaganza on Aug. 6, 2011, at Embassy Suites. Check it out at www.artunraveled.com and join the fun of one of the greatest mixed media retreats in the Southwest. I have a link on the right sidebar for other blog created just for Art Unraveled.
Suzanne Botello and I do this project together. While we have a lot of fun hunting and gathering just for a once-a-year event, it is alsol stressful and tiring. When we finish selling all of our wonderful textiles and other mixed media treasures for the artists attending the workshops, Suzie travels to San Antonio, TX, to visit her son and 2 beautiful granddaughters. I'll return to Flagstaff and actually start some real "heartmaking" and cleaning house.
As a little sidenote, my BP is way higher than I want and I'm not mlotivated to eat properly, take those 30 minute daily walks, and continue with the aquatic exercises for arthritus pain. I'll also resume accupuncture treatments for pain and to help reduce my BP. Next step is to stop at Walgreen's and get a BP monitor. Hey, this was supposed to only happen to old people, not me.

I'm so happy to see you in the ART group! And of course I will be there on Saturday--I have to drop by and refresh the stash!

I have been talking about this subject a lot lately with my father so hopefully this will get him to see my point of view. Fingers crossed!

Thank you for the kind comment on the flower photo. I just bought some border gladiolas, zinnias, and sunflowers from a local gardener this morning that I plan to take pictures of this weekend. I appreciate your comment on my blog. It kinda makes this day a better one after having my car towed to the tire dealer for a new tire and all that is involved (and paying for it).
